I joined the team at PocketGems as a Principal artist initially trying to establish a new 3D pipeline for this mobile title.
the goal was to create a proper exemplar on translating all the hand drawn backdrops to 3D environments. Over time, as the project got cancelled (as upper management deemed it too costly), my role changed and I was mostly responsible for creating 3D blockouts for environments to be sent to outsourcing for 2D paintovers.
